1. The service

SmartVideoEditor provides free video tools that run in your web browser. Some features are limited for guests and extended for registered members. We may change, add or remove features at any time.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the videos you process and the files you create. Because processing happens on your device, we never receive or store your content. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use and modify the videos you process, including any music or third-party material in them.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service to infringe copyright or other rights, or to create illegal content;
• try to bypass limits, overload the service, or access it with automated scripts beyond normal use;
• attempt to break, probe or reverse-engineer the service's security;
• create multiple accounts to avoid limits or after being suspended.

4. Accounts

Keep your password secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

5. Limits

Daily export limits, file size limits and GIF length limits apply to guests and members. They are shown in each tool and may change over time.

6. Advertising and third parties

The service may show ads and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.

7. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Video processing depends on your device and browser, and some files may not be supported.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartVideoEditor is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Always keep a copy of your original files.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept the new terms.
